When is outside watering allowed? Outside watering is allowed on odd days for odd-numbered addresses and even days for even-numbered addresses. Watering is not allowed during the day between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The watering restrictions are in effect from June 1 through September 30.

Special permits for the watering of newly installed lawns can be obtained at the district office. This permits the property owner to water every day during allowed times. Handheld devices and children’s water toys may be used on any day at any time. For a complete copy of the ordinance, please call the office. Failure to comply with sprinkling restrictions may result in disconnection of service (See Wis. Admin. Code -§185.37).

CURB STOPS

At the edge of your property usually near your driveway, there is a curb stop or shutoff for the water line from the street to your house. It is a round cover about four inches in diameter that should be even with your landscaping or your driveway.
